Just saw someone play last Thursday who was on stage with Martha many years ago at Floydfest.

I'm amazed the dad is still around, he didn't look too good, and that was years ago.

I actually made it (drove up) to the top of Whitetop mountain last July for the first time, good view although nothing but microwave towers up there. Also rode my bike from Whitetop station on the Virginia Creeper trail.

I'll have to figure out a way to catch her sometime. Floydfest has moved further and futher away from traditional music, maybe catch them at the Floyd country store right there in Floyd! She was a mean clogger, even when she was "slightly" pregnant.
